The Israeli army has launched an prolonged raid on Ramallah and El-Bireh in the occupied West Bank while it continues to be relentlessly beating Gaza, and Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reports that at least 58 Palestinians were injured.
The injured on Tuesday included a child struck by fire live. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the 13 -year -old had undergone surgery after being injured in the abdomen.
Witnesses said the Israeli forces had taken a exchange shop in an area between Ramallah, where the presidential compound of the Palestinian authority, al-Muqata’a, and El-Bireh, is based, holding at least three Palestinians while the Israeli elite shooters positioned themselves on the roofs and soldiers took over the central plant area.
The PRCs said eight people had been struck by live bullets, 14 were struck with rubber coating steel balls – including a 71 -year -old man – and five were injured by bursts of buses.
31 other Palestinians suffered an inhalation of tear gas, including two pregnant women.

A rescue team was prevented from reaching the injured in the besieged areas, the PRCs said.
The Presidency of the Palestinian Authority condemned what she called a “dangerous escalation” by Israeli forces. Labeling the raids “criminal acts of aggression”, the presidency said that the Israeli government is fully responsible and urged the United States to intervene and to interrupt the ongoing “crimes” in the occupied West Bank.
Xavier Abu Eid, former communications director of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), said the RAID lasted a few hours in an area close to three schools and a market.
“This is part of the daily life of the Palestinians,” said Abu Eid to Tel Aviv Tribune de Ramallah, noting that Israel leads to a show of force to remind residents “who actually governs here”.
Hamdah Salhut of Tel Aviv Tribune, reporting from Amman, said about the assault of the ongoing Israeli army and the violence of the occupied West Bank settlers: “The Palestinians are defenseless in the face of all these threats: they are entirely displaced by their homes. They are constantly attacked by the violence of the settlers.
“There have been murders, there was a criminal fire, there were olive trees that were uprooted, livestock who were killed and people who were injured in the process of protecting their land from these illegal Israeli colonists. Then you have the Israeli army, who enlist these colonists (and) protects these colonists,”
Salhut noted that earlier this year, “one of the largest Israeli military incursions in the northern part of the occupied West Bank is in fact still in progress; The refugee camps were completely destroyed and the Palestinians, intimidated by the Israeli army, were forced to leave anywhere. ”
The war against “all the Palestinians”
Adel Abdel Ghafar, principal researcher at the Middle East Council on World Affairs, said that Israel’s last military operation in Ramallah showed that his war was not only with Hamas or Gaza, but with “all the Palestinians”.
“We have seen increasing incursions from the Israeli army in the West Bank. We have seen the demolition of the houses. We saw the demolition of the properties,” he told Tel Aviv Tribune.
“All this is an integral part of the collective punishment of the Palestinian people in the West Bank,” he said, adding that part of the objective is to “strangle” people on the territory.
He added that Israel was able to carry out its operations “with impunity in the West Bank” because the Palestinian authority is not able to respond effectively.

‘Oslo died’
The West Bank has experienced a wave of Israeli military violence and settlers since Israel launched its war against Gaza in October 2023, and tens of thousands of Palestinians were forced to leave their homes.
Ramallah recorded the greatest number of attacks, 585, followed by 479 in Naplus in the north of the West Bank.
At least 671 Palestinians, including 129 children, were killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the region since October 2023, according to the United Nations Bureau for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
The political journalist based in Paris, Fasten Elwan, said that the raid in Ramallah seemed to be more a show of force on the West Bank rather than a targeted military operation.
“Israel sends a clear message according to which Oslo (agreements) is dead, that the Palestinian authority is dead and that there is no power on the ground but the Israeli forces and the colonists who now act as a ghost government for the vision of the Israeli army,” she told Tel Aviv Tribune.
The Oslo agreements, signed in 1993 and 1995, were supposed to cause Palestinian self -determination in the form of a Palestinian state alongside Israel. This would mean that Israel – which was trained in the country of historic Palestine in 1948 in a Palestinian event under the name of Nakba, or disaster – would accept Palestinian affirmations to national sovereignty. The affirmations, however, would be limited to a fraction of historic Palestine, the others remaining under the control of Israel.
