Celebrating marches after Al-Qassam announced the capture of Israeli soldiers in Gaza | News

Marches took place in cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, as well as in Jordan and Palestinian camps in Lebanon, to celebrate the announcement by Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, that Israeli soldiers had been captured in Gaza.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported, at dawn on Sunday, that marches were launched in cities and villages in the West Bank in joy over Al-Qassam’s announcement of the capture of Israeli soldiers in a controlled ambush in the northern Gaza Strip.

Spontaneous marches took place in Ramallah, Hebron, and a number of areas of the West Bank following Abu Ubaida’s speech.

Video clips showed cars participating in marches that roamed the streets in the West Bank, honking horns in joy at the announcement of the Qassams.

Lebanon and Jordan

In Lebanon, spontaneous marches took place after Al-Qassam spokesman Abu Ubaida announced the capture of Israeli soldiers in Gaza.

The Nahr al-Bared camp in northern Lebanon witnessed a march during which participants chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance. Ain al-Hilweh camp also witnessed a similar march in celebration of Operation Al-Qassam.

A march also took place in the Beddawi camp for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, rejoicing at the capture of the occupation soldiers announced by the Al-Qassam spokesman. Takbirs were also heard in the Al-Bass camp, in pictures and in the mosques of the Burj Al-Barajneh camp in Beirut, rejoicing over the Qassam operation.

Also in Jordan, video clips broadcast by activists showed dozens taking to the streets in Jerash Governorate to celebrate the Qassam operation.

Al-Qassam Declaration

Earlier today, Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, announced the capture, killing and wounding of Israeli soldiers during a complex operation on Saturday afternoon in the northern Gaza Strip, where they lured an Israeli force into a tunnel in the Jabalia camp.

Abu Ubaida said, in a video speech broadcast by Tel Aviv Tribune after midnight, that fighters from the “Al-Qassam Brigades,” the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), killed, wounded, and captured members of the Israeli force, and seized their military equipment.

In turn, the Israeli occupation army denied what Abu Ubaida announced and said that “there is no kidnapping of soldiers.”

This is the first time that the Al-Qassam Brigades have announced the capture of Israeli soldiers in Gaza since the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle launched by the Palestinian resistance on October 7.
