Catherine Colonna in China to revive relations between Beijing and Europe

Beijing announced that it would allow French, German, Italian, Dutch and Spanish citizens to enter Chinese territory for 15 days without a visa.

A decision taken after the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna. She came to Beijing to calm tensions between China and Europeparticularly after the entry into force by Brussels of several strategies to protect the European market in the face of Chinese competition.

Another similar agreement is also under discussion with Malaysia. This would allow certain European nationals to enter the country without a visa for a year and a half.
