The Super Eagles won without trembling against Cameroon (2-0) with a double from Ademola Lookman. Led by a great Victor Osimhen, the Nigerians dominated the Indomitable Lions, who, notably, did not target a single shot in the match.

A little earlier, Angola defeated Namibia, who were playing their first round of 16 in the African Cup of Nations.
