Tweeters on social media widely circulated a video clip broadcast by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), showing the targeting of two Israeli Merkava tanks in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades reported that the operation was carried out in conjunction with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, where the resistance fighters targeted the two tanks with anti-tank shells and a guerrilla action device in the middle of the Jabalia camp.

The video clip shows two Palestinian resistance fighters competing in the middle of the battle over who will carry out the operation and advance to destroy the Israeli tank from zero distance by planting the guerrilla action bomb.

One of the resistance fighters addresses the other by saying, “For God’s sake, let her go. Guide me. For God’s sake.”

In the end, one of the resistance fighters approaches the tank in the street and places the device directly on it before withdrawing and detonating the device.

Activists circulated the video clip amid great celebration of the sacrifice of the two resistance fighters and their competition for guerrilla work.

Commenting on the video clip, a tweeter said, “For God’s sake, let her be guided to him. For God’s sake, let the competitors compete.”

Tweeters expressed their admiration for the action of the resistance fighters in competing for martyrdom and targeting occupation vehicles and tanks from zero distance. Some of them even urged others to come forward to carry out the mission.

Commenting on the clip, one of the tweeters asked, “How will these people be defeated?” They are competing over who will have the honor of targeting the tank, which may end in the end of his life.

A tweeter commented on the video by saying, “Brothers of blood, weapons, and unparalleled courage.”
