Al -Raghbi player, Lorua Carter, dreamed of joining his country, New Zealand, turning into a nightmare, when his dog bite his passport a few days before traveling to Argentina.
The back player discovered the matter after receiving a call this week from the coach of New Zealand Scott Robertson to inform him of his summons to compensate the injured Keleib Clark.
Carter told local media – Thursday – that he had taken a picture of his passport and sent it to the team’s management, before leaving it on a table near its bed.
“My partner went to the gym and left my dog at home alone, so he went to the corridor, jumped on the bed and biting my passport and my teeth.”
“The situation was somewhat chaotic yesterday. I was trying to get an emergency passport, but I think things have returned to their quorum now.”
The 26 -year -old is scheduled to get an emergency passport in Auckland before traveling to Buenos Aires Friday.
Carter, who participated with the New Zealand national team, will play its first international match in the Paris Olympics, its first international match in a 15 -players match against Argentina in Cordoba on August 16.
