Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported on Monday that the bodies of martyrs were piled up in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, after intense Israeli raids, while the number of martyrs following the bombing of a house in Khan Yunis rose to 23 martyrs.
Correspondent Hisham Zaqout from the hospital said that the bodies of the martyrs were dumped on the ground because there was no other place, noting that dozens of injured people were crowded in the hospital as a result of the violent Israeli raids on Al-Maghazi camp, which was crowded with displaced people and residents.
He explained that the bombs dropped by the occupation army and a single raid destroy many crowded homes, especially with the intensification of Israeli bombing after midnight.
The Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre in Al-Maghazi camp (central Gaza Strip), which led to the death of 70 Palestinians, most of them women and children.
Inability and difficulties
The director of the emergency department and spokesman for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Dr. Khalil Al-Dakran, said that the occupation army commits daily field executions against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
He added that the remaining hospitals are unable to deal with the injured and the bodies of the martyrs scattered everywhere.
Earlier, the health authorities in Gaza warned that hospitals were unable to deal with the large number of martyrs and wounded.
Yesterday, Sunday, the World Health Organization condemned the destruction of the health system in Gaza as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip, renewing the call for a ceasefire.

The organization’s Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said in a post on the X platform, “The elimination of the health system in Gaza is a tragedy,” and added, “We continue to call for an immediate ceasefire.”
The World Health Organization reports that of Gaza’s total 36 hospitals, only 9 are now partially operating, all of them in the south.
The organization described the scenes of patients left begging for food and water as “unbearable.”
Hospitals protected under international humanitarian law have repeatedly come under Israeli aggression in Gaza since the outbreak of war.
The World Health Organization counted 246 attacks on health care facilities in Gaza as of December 20, including hospitals and ambulances, resulting in the death of 582 people and the injury of 748 others.
Bombing and martyrs
This comes while, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said, the number of martyrs who were killed as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Ma’an area, east of Khan Yunis, rose to 23 martyrs, most of whom were women and children.
The occupation’s intense and unprecedented aggression against the Gaza Strip continues for the 80th day in a row, launching dozens of air strikes and bombardments by land and sea, leaving tens of thousands martyred, wounded and missing.
This comes while there are still thousands of martyrs and wounded under the rubble and on the roads who have not been recovered. Due to the continuous bombing and the occupation’s prevention of ambulance crews from recovering them.
It also comes under a stifling siege and an emphasis on the entry of fuel, medicines, and necessary food and vital aid, which makes the humanitarian situation in the Strip even more catastrophic.
