Medical sources said that 67 Palestinians were martyred in unprecedented Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, while the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) denounced “the occupation’s continued war of extermination against defenseless civilians.”
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that at least 4 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli air strike that targeted the Beach Camp, west of Gaza City.
Two Palestinians were also martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a group of citizens in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, in central Gaza City. Two other Palestinians were also killed as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a vehicle in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of the city.
Tents for the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, were subjected to Israeli bombing, killing 10 martyrs and wounding about 15, including 3 children and 2 women.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that 6 people were martyred and 13 wounded in an Israeli raid that targeted a Ministry of Interior building near the Abu Hamid roundabout, downtown Khan Yunis, with a number of missiles.
Civil Defense spokesman in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Basal, said that 20 people were martyred in two massacres in Jabalia al-Nazla and al-Mawasi.
In statements to Tel Aviv Tribune, Basal added that most of the victims the Civil Defense deals with are children and women, which confirms the occupation’s insistence on continuing its policy of ethnic cleansing.
Medics said that an Israeli air strike killed at least 10 Palestinians and wounded 15, in a camp for displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip early Thursday morning.
Hamas condemns
For its part, the Hamas movement condemned the escalation of the occupation and its aggression against various regions of the Gaza Strip, and the martyrdom of more than 50, most of them women and children, noting that the occupation is continuing its war of extermination against defenseless civilians.
Hamas added, in a statement, that the failure of the international community and its institutions, and its abandonment of its role in working to stop the ongoing crime of the occupation, is “a disgrace that will not be erased and a resounding moral failure that history will not forgive.”
Hamas called on the masses of the Arab and Islamic nations, and the free people of the world, to take action at all levels, to put pressure to stop the daily massacres, and to escalate solidarity activities with the Palestinian people.
The Government Information Office in Gaza spoke of a bloody escalation, and said that the Israeli army carried out 34 raids during the past 24 hours, claiming the lives of “71 martyrs” and dozens of wounded.
For his part, the Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Munir Al-Bursh, said that all kinds of death have befallen the people of the Strip.
In statements to Tel Aviv Tribune, Al-Bersh added that the behavior of the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip is becoming more ferocious and brutal in light of the world’s silence.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced – today, Thursday – that the toll of genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinians has risen to 45,581 martyrs and 108,438 injured since October 7, 2023.
The Ministry said – in its daily statistical statement – that the Israeli army committed 5 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 28 martyrs and 59 injuries reached hospitals during the past 24 hours.
