Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday ruled out any ceasefire in the war against Hamas before “elimination” of the Palestinian Islamist movement which demands an end to the fighting to free hostages.
“We are continuing the war until the end. It will continue until the elimination of Hamas, until victory. Those who think we are going to stop are out of touch with reality”Mr. Netanyahu said in a video released by his office.
Discussions on a new pause in Gaza are “very serious”for its part assured the White House.
Earlier in the day, Hamas leader Ismail Hanniyeh arrived in Cairo for discussions on a truce with the IDF in exchange for the release of hostages held prisoner by the terrorist organization in Gaza.

At the same time, in New York, UN diplomats are discussing a new resolution on the war between Israel and Hamas.
