Beirut- The people and those affected in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, began inspecting the damage resulting from the Israeli assassination of Saleh Al-Arouri, deputy head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), as the targeting affected their property and residential buildings, and caused severe damage.
Speaking to Tel Aviv Tribune Net, the owner of the “Baydoun Shoe Factory” reported that his factory and home were damaged as a result of the targeting. He described the first moments of the explosion, saying, “The moment the targeting occurred, I was in my house, and we felt the vibration of the entire building. At first we saw a car on fire, and then it exploded like the buildings opposite as well.”
In turn, a resident of a damaged building in the southern suburb of Tel Aviv Tribune Net says, “I was outside the house, but my family – my wife and children – were in it. The moment the explosion occurred, my wife called me, and I did not realize what had happened or what I should do.”
The same witness adds that the targeted building was opposite the building in which he lives, so it was greatly damaged, as fragments spread throughout the house. He confirms that he raises the Palestinian flag in his home, and remains “steadfast and does not kneel.”
