European football fans are awaiting the two sides of the final of the UEFA Champions League, which will be held on the 31st of this month, when the semi -final second leg will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, and tomorrow, Wednesday.
Inter Milan will meet with its Spanish guest Barcelona tomorrow, Tuesday, while Arsenal will be a heavy guest of Paris Saint -Germain, tomorrow, Wednesday.
After they tied 3-3 in the first leg in Spain last week, Inter will meet Barcelona again in the second leg, where Inter seeks to approach a step towards his fourth continental title, while Barcelona aspires to achieve its sixth title.
The result of the first leg of Inter Milan appears on paper, but given that the Italian team advanced two clean goals at some point (and scored the first goal after only 30 seconds), the two teams can claim that they came out with a moral victory from the first match. Now, one of them must actually resolve this conflict.
Inter defeated Barcelona in the semi-finals the last time he won the Champions League, in the 2009-2010 season. With the preference of playing at home in Giuseppe Meazza, things appear to be a little in the interest of Inter Milan, led by its coach, Simone Inzaghi.
“Barcelona players know that they are facing a big team, Inter, and in Milan as well. Our fans realize that we have presented our best in difficult times, and we know that Tuesday will be like a final match,” Enzagi said.
“I think this match deserves to be described as the ultimate premature,” Barcelona coach, Hanzi Felk, agreed with him, who said.
But the German coach does not seem excessive in anxiety. Rather, he believes that Inter need also to win may create spaces that his team can exploit.
He said, “Inter cannot be satisfied with defense. They have to try to score as well. We are playing in a style and confidence, and we know what we can do. We have 90 minutes, and we hope it is enough to reach the final. This is our goal, and we will fight for it.”
Felk hopes that his team has absorbed the necessary lessons from the first leg.
Certainly, Barcelona cannot do much about Inter’s physical superiority, while Enzagi will again try to take advantage of the speed and strength against a team that rarely loses the acquisition.
Saint -Germain and Arsenal
On Wednesday, Arsenal will be initially required to compensate for his delay with a clean goal in the first leg that was held in London last week if he wants to qualify for the final, while Saint -Germain is enough to draw or win any result to reach the final match.
Thanks to the early goal scored by Osman Dembele in London, its eighth goal in 9 Champions League matches since the beginning of 2025, Paris Saint -Germain has become the outskirts of qualifying for the second final in its history.
However, the attacker may be absent from the second leg due to injury, and coach Luis Enrique, Egypt, that his team still has a difficult task in the “Princes Park” stadium.
“Our only goal is to win the return match on our land as well. Against Arsenal, we cannot be indolence or satisfied. This is a team that can rewrite history in only one second, and we will return to the starting point. Nothing has been decided yet, they have nothing to lose,” the Spanish coach said.
Gianluigi Donnaroma, Saint -Germain goalkeeper, tackled decisive balls when he led his team to exclude Liverpool and Aston Villa, respectively in the previous rounds.
He continued his vital interventions in northern London, and he will be required to be full again in the French capital.
“This is the job of the goalkeepers, right?” Said coach Luis Enrique.
Of the 19 -legions in the elimination roles in European championships, the team qualified for the next round 18 times.
The only exception was the loss against Manchester United in the final price of the 2018-2019 season, as the team bid farewell to the tournament by goal difference outside the ground when he won 2-0 and lost 1-3.
For his part, Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya confirms that his team has shown what is necessary to win the second leg.
“From the 25th minute, we have shown that we are able to beat any team. We have proven this season that we can win away from our stadium, so we will go to Paris next week to win the match,” he said.
