Ending the conflict in 2024

At the initiative of Volodymyr Zelensky, foreign representatives and international organizations met in Kyiv on Thursday to discuss the end of the war.

The Ukrainian President hopes that all efforts will be made to end the conflict this year. He underlined the work still necessary to ensure the repatriation of Ukrainians detained in Russia, whether they are military or civilian, children or adults.

According to Humanitarian Platform,20,000 civilians have been injured since the start of the war, and 10,500 killed, including 587 children.

According to this same NGO, the constant bombings result in “a traumatized, displaced generation that fears for its life“.
