At least 25 people were killed and 20 others injured this Sunday in bombings on a market on the outskirts of Donetsk, a Ukrainian city occupied by Russia. Local authorities, appointed by Moscow, claim that the shells had been fired by the Ukrainian army and denounce a “barbaric terrorist act”. Similar strikes are also believed to have targeted other Russian cities and occupied Crimea.

While Kyiv refuses to comment on these accusations, the newspaper Ukrainska Pravda reports for its part that drones from the Ukrainian intelligence services attacked Russian military installations in Smolensk, Tula and Orel.

Among the targeted locations: one of the largest companies in the Russian defense industry and a chemical transport terminal at the Russian port of Ust-Luga.

Sites that supplied Russian soldiers. Kyiv says this damage will decrease “considerably” enemy military logistics.

On the front line, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian forces had taken control of the village of Krokhmalne in the Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian army confirmed this capture, but clarified that it is only a “temporary phenomenon”.
