Al -Jazeera obtained artificial satellite images in which the extent of the damage that the forest fires left on the Syrian coast, and the pictures showed the difference in the vegetation of the vegetation between the fourth of the current month and the tenth of it.

Syrian officials said that the number of participating aircraft has reached 16 aircraft so far, and is expected to rise to 20 aircraft in the coming hours.
This catastrophe comes amid a suffocating drought in the country recently, as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) had previously warned that Syria “has not witnessed climate conditions for this bad 60 years ago,” noting that drought threatens more than 16 million people with food insecurity.
