Arrests and executions .. Iran is the disintegration of Israeli spy networks policy

Tehran- The Iranian security services announced, at the beginning of last week, and with the start of the Israeli aggression against Iran, the implementation of a series of vast security and intelligence operations that targeted what they described as “spying networks belonging to the Israeli Mossad”, in light of the uninhabited war that escalates between Tehran and Tel Aviv.

According to reports issued by the official agencies in Tehran, the Iranian security forces launched, in coordination with the Ministry of Intelligence and Revolutionary Guards, simultaneous security operations in separate governorates, which included Mazandaran (in the north), Kurdistan and Ruristan (in the west) and the western suburbs of Tehran, the border areas with the Kurdistan region of Iraq and other regions.

andIndicate The geography included in the arrests diversified to “the existence of a retinal structure distributed to customers”, and not isolated individual cases, According to the Nureenose agency.

Advanced equipment

The security forces also seized, according to Tasnim Agency, advanced equipment in the possession of the defendants, including drones, launch systems, disturbances, and encrypted communications, which were prepared – according to the official account – to carry out “sabotage and coordinated” operations.

The Mehr News Agency reported that one of the detainees in Mazandaran Governorate was a “field element”, and he received military exercises abroad, and in his hideout, explosives and communication devices were found with a distance control system.

In the Kurdistan Governorate, Tasnim stated that one of the detainees admitted during the investigation to smuggle sensitive information about defense facilities in exchange for money in dollars and the euro.

“The nature of the seized tools indicates that the dismantled networks were not in the collection phase, but rather in the advanced implementation phase, and with direct direction from abroad.”

In an interview with official television, retired Brigadier General Mohamed Reda Naqdi said that “the intelligence war has become the true face of the current confrontation with the Zionist entity, and we are dealing with sleeping cells and local hired two wages that were recruited across the cyberspace.”

Faris Agency quoted the investigation of the Ministry of Intelligence that some customers used the “WhatsApp” application as a direct contact with their operators, to send targeted photos and sites related to military radars and installations.

The security forces also seized wireless jamming devices and transmitters that were placed in areas that are difficult to detect, some of them inside modified home equipment.

Execution and dismantling

The Mizan Agency (affiliated with the Judicial Authority) announced the execution of the death sentence against two people who condemned the espionage for the Mossad, after trials that took place “in accordance with the full legal controls”:

  • Ismail Fikry; It was executed on June 16, after being convicted of collecting security information for Israel, and was arrested in Isfahan province, where he was the subject of intelligence monitoring for months.
  • Majid Masibi; The execution was carried out against him on June 22, on charges of “warrior” and “corruption on the ground”, and the Mehr Agency reported that he admitted to receiving training in one of the neighboring countries, and transferring information through advanced encryption devices.

Official television reports confirmed that the detainees are not separate individuals, but rather cells within broader intelligence networks.

8 people were arrested while trying to escape from the western border, in a move described as “an expression of the collapse of customer confidence in their operators after the failure of the recent operations.”

Iran had previously announced in the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 the dismantling of similar cells linked to the Mossad, which were involved in assassinations that affected scientists in the nuclear and defensive field, most notably the world Mohsen Fakhry Zadeh.

Public confrontation

The data published in the official Iranian agencies draws the features of a new stage in the confrontation between Tehran and Tel Aviv, topped by:

  • Iran faces an active intelligence war that is no less important than military threats.
  • Israeli spy networks penetrated a local fabric in a number of governorates.
  • The Iranian response has become faster and more beautiful, by combining security work and judicial accounting, and implementing judgments within a few days of pronunciation.

In light of the increasing escalation, it appears that Iran is heading to a decisive liquidation of every foreign intelligence presence on its soil, as recent executions and arrests expressed a transition from the policy of “silent containment” to a declared and direct confrontation, as the security response became parallel and even progressing on the military or diplomatic response.

Files and challenges

  • Natanz bombings (2020-2021): The Natanz facility witnessed successive bombings, the last of which was in April 2021, and the Atomic Energy Agency and security sources admitted that it was “Israeli sabotage operations.”
  • The assassination of Mohsen Fakhri Zadeh (November 2020): The prominent nuclear world in Tehran was assassinated by a gun installed on a pickup truck, with direct planning of the Mossad.
  • March aircraft (2023) infiltrated: Aircraft attack in January 2023 targeted a military ammunition factory in Isfahan, and was blamed for the Mossad.
  • The assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran (July 2024), where he targeted the day after he attended the inauguration ceremony of the current Iranian president, Masoud Bouchakian.

Investigations and confiscated evidence reveal that some espionage cells exceeded the monitoring and monitoring stage to the executive planning stage, indicating the complexity of the Israeli penetration and its sense of Iranian geography.

Although Iran has shown the ability to dismantle advanced cells and prevent imminent attacks, the previous operations recorded from bombings of nuclear facilities to qualitative assassinations, confirming that the challenge is still in the side of intelligence protection and building internal security immunity.

In the context, the recent moves seem part of a long -term confrontation that revolves in the shadows, where the tools of modern war intersect with spying and cyber penetration networks, in an open conflict that is no longer limited to military fronts, but rather is going on in the depth of the interior.
