Several Arab cities witnessed demonstrations and events on Monday in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, coinciding with the first anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
In the Yemeni city of Taiz, large crowds came out in solidarity with the Palestinian cause, in which political parties, components, and the Popular Committee for Supporting Palestine Issues participated.
Large crowds of city residents participated in the march, raising Palestinian flags and chanting slogans in support of the struggle of the Palestinian people.
The march statement condemned the ongoing crimes committed by the occupation, stressing Arab and Islamic solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The capital, Sanaa, also witnessed a demonstration in solidarity with Gaza, during which a member of the Supreme Political Council of the Ansar Allah group (Houthis), Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, delivered a speech in which he threatened Israel with more strikes.
In the Jordanian capital, Amman, hundreds participated in a stand in solidarity with the Gaza Strip.
The National Forum for Supporting the Resistance organized this protest, meters away from the headquarters of the Israeli Embassy in the capital, Amman, under the slogan “Siege of the Zionist Embassy.”
The participants chanted slogans including, “With our soul and our blood, we will redeem you, O Palestine, and I shout, ‘Hear all the people.. All my country is with Hamas.’”
They also called for the cancellation of the peace agreement signed between their country and Israel, known as Wadi Araba, which was signed in 1994.
Tel Aviv continues the war of genocide in Gaza, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end it immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Strike and skirmishes
In Morocco, students and academics organized demonstrations and a general strike at universities, in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression.

In Tunisia, hundreds participated in a march through the streets of the capital, denouncing the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
The march witnessed skirmishes between protesters and security, as they stopped in front of the French Embassy, where they chanted slogans against France and Western countries’ support for Israel in its aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip.
The protesters raised pictures of Palestinian resistance symbols, chanting slogans including: “Jihad… Victory or martyrdom, and with soul and blood… we will sacrifice for you, O Palestine, and here you are, O Al-Aqsa. The people want… to criminalize normalization (with Israel) and national unity… against the Zionist attack.”
In Mauritania, lawyers, doctors, and academics organized solidarity demonstrations with Gaza and Lebanon, in the face of the Israeli aggression.
Until now, the Israeli aggression on Gaza has led to the fall of about 42,000 martyrs, most of them women and children, in addition to the destruction of infrastructure and service facilities, and the displacement and starvation of the population.
In Lebanon, the Israeli aggression led to the death of more than two thousand people, the destruction of villages in the south, and the displacement of their residents.
