António Guterres: ‘The ultimate vaccine against polio in Gaza is peace’ | Israeli-Palestinian conflict

The UN is preparing 1.6 million doses of polio vaccine for children in Gaza as the disease spreads across the devastated strip. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said that if a ceasefire is not declared, a “polio pause” will be needed for a vaccination campaign to take place.
