The occupation army announced on Tuesday morning the killing of an officer and 3 soldiers in the battles in the Gaza Strip, while the occupation’s bombardment continued since dawn on the areas of the central Strip, Khan Yunis, and southern Rafah, resulting in the death and injury of two Palestinians.
The occupation said that an officer and three other soldiers from the Givati Brigade were killed yesterday in fierce battles in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, after the Al-Qassam Brigades announced yesterday the detonation of a booby-trapped house in which an Israeli force was holed up in the Shaboura Camp in Rafah, leaving its members dead and wounded.
Thus, the death toll of the occupation since the beginning of the war on the 7th of last October rose to 650, including 298 since the beginning of the ground battles on the 27th of the same month, according to the Israeli army.
While the number of wounded in the Israeli army since the beginning of the war reached 3,786, including 1,917 since the beginning of the ground attack, while Israeli hospitals and media confirmed that the actual number of injured and killed in the Israeli army is greater than what is announced.
For his part, Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir described Israel’s morning as “difficult” with the announcement of the killing of 4 soldiers in Rafah.
Targeting tents
Meanwhile, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces opened fire on the tents of the displaced in the Mawasi Rafah area, south of the Gaza Strip, confirming the death of two young men and the wounding of another in a raid that targeted the west of the city.
The correspondent also confirmed the death and injury of two Palestinians in an Israeli bombing that targeted an inhabited house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
He added that 3 Palestinians were martyred and 5 people were injured when occupation aircraft bombed a house in Al Khawalda in the central Gaza Strip, and that 8 people were martyred as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Al Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City.
The reporter said that Israeli raids targeted a house on Al-Ma’am Street in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City, and that civil defense teams and ambulance crews transported the bodies of the martyrs and a number of the wounded to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
In Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, 8 people were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the town of Al-Fukhari.
The occupation forces have continued their aggression on land, sea and air against the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, resulting in the death of 37,124 Palestinians and the injury of 84,712 others, while thousands of victims remain under the rubble.
