The Israeli army announced that one of its soldiers was killed and 8 other soldiers were injured in an attack carried out by Hezbollah – with two drones – on a military site near the village of Hurfish in the Upper Galilee last night, while Minister of the War Council, Benny Gantz, spoke of a “possible war” on the Lebanese front.

The occupation army said that one of the two marches exploded among a group of soldiers, while the other struck rescue teams that rushed to the scene to treat them, wounding three other civilians.

This brings the total number of Israeli deaths on the border with Lebanon to 26 since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah announced the bombing of the headquarters of the 91st Division in the Pranit Barracks and a soldiers’ position in its vicinity, confirming the destruction of part of it and the infliction of casualties on the ranks of Israeli soldiers.

The Lebanese party also said that it targeted the Ramtha site in the occupied Kfar Shuba hills with missiles.

Targeting Iron Dome

Yesterday, Hezbollah announced that it attacked 9 Israeli targets, and said that it targeted, with marches, the headquarters of Israeli soldiers south of the Al-Kush settlement, causing deaths and injuries among their ranks.

He added that he bombed gatherings of soldiers in Horsh Baram and the sites of Birkat Risha, Al-Malikiyah, Al-Samaqa, and Zabdin.

Hezbollah broadcast scenes of its fighters targeting – with a guided missile – the Iron Dome platform in the Ramot Naftali barracks of the occupation army in northern Israel, which led to its destruction.

The party also broadcast scenes of the bombing of an Israeli military vehicle and its crew – last Monday – at the Jabal Adathar site of the occupation army in northern Israel.

A statement from the Lebanese party stated that this Israeli vehicle was directly hit and caught fire, leaving its crew dead and wounded.

In the same context, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent in Lebanon reported that two people were injured, one of them in critical condition, in targeting an Israeli motorcycle rally in the town of Aitaroun in the south of the country.

The reporter said that Israeli fighter jets launched raids on the towns of Wadi Gilo, Siddiqin, Al-Adisa, Beit Yahoun and Aita Al-Shaab, and occupation artillery also bombed the vicinity of several border towns in southern Lebanon.

For his part, the Israeli army spokesman said that the Air Force targeted a series of Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon, including military infrastructure in the Naqoura and Aita al-Shaab regions, and a Hezbollah observation point in Khiam.

The Israeli spokesman added – in his statement – that artillery bombed the outskirts of sites in Halta, Marwahin, Hula and Jebin in southern Lebanon.

“hard days”

In a parallel context, Israeli War Council Minister Benny Gantz informed the heads of towns in the north – on the border with Lebanon – that they must prepare for more difficult days.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that Gantz said – during a meeting with them two days ago – not to complain about the present because the future may be more problematic.

Gantz asked the town leaders to prepare for fighting and more difficult days that could lead them to war.

The Israeli channel reported that the heads of northern towns expressed their frustration with the situation that has been going on for 8 months with no end in sight.

In turn, retired Israeli Major General Yitzhak Brik said that the heads of northern towns are calling for an attack on Hezbollah, but they are ignorant of the miserable state the army has reached.

In an article published by Maariv newspaper, Brick said that any army attack on Hezbollah with full force could bring terrible destruction to all of Israel.

Brick added that Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy are not ready to acknowledge the army’s weakness and inability.
