Today, Friday, an Israeli soldier was injured as a result of being run over in the Rantis area in the Ramallah Governorate in the central West Bank, while 7 Palestinians were injured by occupation bullets during the storming of the Al-Amari camp in the city of Al-Bireh.

The Israeli army reported – in a statement – reports of a run-over accident in the Rantis area, during which an army soldier was injured and was subsequently transferred to receive medical treatment, without clarifying the seriousness of the soldier’s injury.

The statement added that the army forces began pursuing the perpetrator and that the details of the incident are under examination.

On the other hand, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 7 people were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during their storming of Al-Amari camp, including 3 serious injuries.

The Red Crescent Society said – in a statement – that its ambulance crew transported a 12-year-old child to the hospital with live bullets in the abdomen, describing his condition as “critical.”

Anatolia Agency quoted eyewitnesses as saying that an Israeli force stormed the city of Al-Bireh and raided Al-Amari camp and Umm Al-Sharayet neighborhood, south of the city.

According to the official Palestinian news agency, Wafa, the raid also resulted in the arrest of a young man whose name was not mentioned.

Today, the Israeli occupation forces also arrested two young men from the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, coinciding with the closure of the entrances to the town.

Settlers attack

In another development, Wafa reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, today, and raided the home of a freed prisoner.

In southern Nablus, near the towns of Huwwara and Burin, settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones, which led to the smashing of the windows of two vehicles.

In conjunction with its ongoing war on the Gaza Strip since last October 7, the Israeli army expanded its operations in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and settlers intensified their attacks on Palestinians and their property.

Since that day, the number of Palestinians who were martyred by bullets from the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank has reached more than 546, in addition to about 5,200 wounded, in addition to 9,170 arrested, according to official Palestinian authorities.

While the Israeli war on Gaza left more than 122,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens of children and the elderly.
