An investigation of an investigation on the Israeli “Sahhah Makumit” website, based on the testimonies of Israeli soldiers, officers, eyewitnesses, doctors, and paramedics, revealed a deliberate and systematic policy pursued by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, targeting rescue teams and people with tactics known as a “double blow” using misfortunes.
The investigation shows that this practice has turned into a daily military routine, which doubled the size of the humanitarian catastrophe and sow terror and despair among relief workers and civilians.
Double strike
The testimonies reported by the investigation reveal that the Israeli army bombed a civil or residential target first, then the bombing is repeated at the same site after the arrival of paramedics or civilians trying to save the wounded.
“The goal is to kill everyone who comes for help, and this has become part of the routine that we are used to.”
The targeting is not limited to the militants or the suspects, according to what the investigation states, but rather includes paramedics and medical staff, and witnesses confirm in their interview with the Israeli site that “there is no discrimination, but they shoot all those who are approaching, even if he is wearing an ambulance.”
The site quoted officers that the Israeli army is using marches to repeat the bombing on sites targeted in Gaza without knowing who was damaged, and with the army’s knowledge that the repetition of the bombing may kill hundreds of civilians stranded under the rubble.
Fear broadcasting
The investigation stated that the repetition of the bombing led to the reluctance of many rescue crews and civilians to try to help the injured, leaving the wounded struggling without help.
The investigation confirms that in most cases there was no armed between the rescuers, and despite that, the bombing was again.
The site describes the “dual strike” policy as a flagrant violation of international law, as the United Nations Human Rights Committee stipulates that it is a war crime, but the Israeli army is satisfied with the statement that it “examines each case separately.”
Since October 7, 2023, with American support, Israel has launched a mass extermination war on Gaza that includes killing, starvation, destruction and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and the orders of the International Court of Justice to stop it.
The war of extermination on the Palestinian people has left more than 203,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people, and the famine that has been tired of the lives of many of them children.
