The Israeli occupation is striving by various means to destroy what was described as the “inspirational iconic image” left by the martyrdom of the head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Yahya Sinwar.

There is speculation in Israeli circles about the possibility of blowing up the building that witnessed the last battle with Sinwar, especially after the blowing up of many homes in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, west of the city of Rafah (south of the Gaza Strip), which is the neighborhood in which the Hamas leader was martyred.

In his last appearance, Al-Sinwar launched, according to a report broadcast by Al-Jazeera by journalist Fatima Al-Triki, “a deluge that sweeps away the occupier’s lies and his efforts to destroy that iconic image.”
