Algeria- The Buraq Authority for Jerusalem Knowledge, affiliated with the Algerian Muslim Scholars Association in the state of Gilzan, west of the capital, Algiers, launched the Al-Aqsa exhibition to introduce the mosque and Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

The exhibition includes an accurate, detailed model of Al-Aqsa Mosque with its various features, including mosques, domes, corridors, niches, and other landmarks, in addition to explanations of the history of the mosque and Jerusalem, presented by professors and specialists in Jerusalem knowledge from inside and outside Algeria.

Al-Aqsa Exhibition tours various Algerian regions, in coordination with many bodies, such as universities and associations, in service of the Palestinian cause, and targets all age groups, especially young people.

Serving the Palestinian cause

Member of the Buraq Authority for Jerusalem Knowledge, Yahya Takham, says that the idea of this exhibition came from the Al-Aqsa Terraces Project, which was adopted by the Association of Muslim Scholars of the Provinces of Relizane, and which includes scientific seminars to introduce the doctrine, culture, and history of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in service of the Palestinian cause and an introduction to the holy sites.

Takham confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune Net that the preparation of the exhibition took place in several stages, based on collecting information from reliable sources, communicating with specialists, and then setting out to accurately complete the model of Al-Aqsa Mosque over the course of two full years, after which the project would be launched in conjunction with the Al-Aqsa Flood process.

For her part, member of the Buraq Authority for Jerusalem Knowledge, Khadija Qaddouri, says that this project was completed out of belief in the necessity of taking action by removing ignorance from minds, starting from correcting knowledge to correcting the path of change and directing towards the Palestinian issue, as it is the central issue.

Cognitive catastrophe

Khadija Qaddouri believes that “a cognitive catastrophe has struck the nation in the past two decades, making people applaud the occupier as he desecrates their land and their sanctities, thinking that it is an inevitable fate in which neither resistance nor jihad will be of any benefit, after which the Al-Aqsa flood will come and change beliefs.”

She added, in her conversation with Tel Aviv Tribune Net, that the recent spread of the cognitive renaissance requires greater efforts to spread Jerusalem awareness among people, especially young people, to refute all narratives that aim to Judaize Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa.

As for the person in charge of media in the Buraq Authority, Abdel Salam Sahnoun, he said that what is happening in Gaza and Rafah in terms of a genocidal war “necessitates everyone to join hands to acquaint young men and women with their historical sanctities and with the landmarks and concepts so that they can defend them by all available means.”

In his speech to Tel Aviv Tribune Net, Sahnoun justified the great demand of young people for the exhibition and their thirst for knowledge, by the desire of this group to learn knowledge and concepts related to Jerusalem, stemming from their love and attachment to the Palestinian issue, which is what Al-Aqsa Exhibition provided.
