American diplomat Hala Rarit, who resigned from her job at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that American support for Israel will remain a stain on the United States for generations.

Rarity, who was working as the Ministry’s Arabic-speaking spokeswoman, resigned last April, in protest against the absolute American support for Israel in the war of extermination it is waging in the Gaza Strip and in the eyes of the international community.

Rarity said, “It is devastating to me, not only as an American diplomat, but also as an American citizen, that my country is seen, not only in the Arab world, but in most parts of the world, as a country of child killers,” stressing that she had made efforts to change the administration’s policy. The American Council on Gaza before its resignation, but it faced strong opposition.

The former diplomat added that it is not possible to claim that this is a war against Hamas and ignore about two million civilians living in Gaza, expressing her belief that there is a large number of people who do not support American policy in Gaza, but they prefer to remain silent due to fears of losing their jobs and for financial reasons.

Rarity confirmed that without American weapons, Israel would not have been able to commit genocide in Gaza.

In response to a question about whether US President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken were aware of Israel’s violations of international law and American laws, with its crimes in Gaza, Rarity expressed confidence that they were fully aware, which was confirmed by numerous reports.

With absolute American support, the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza for a year has left more than 140,000 Palestinians martyred and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that has killed tens of thousands of children and the elderly.

Israel continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
