Today, Sunday, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, showed scenes of its fighters targeting Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the northern Gaza Strip, after seizing a drone and knowing the coordinates of the occupation forces’ positioning.
Al-Saraya explained in the video that the targeting operation took place in the vicinity of the Al-Khazandar area, west of Al-Tawam, north of Gaza City, and was carried out with explosive ground devices.
Al-Saraya revealed that it had seized an Israeli “Matrix” intelligence plane on November 21, and then updated the coordinates of the Israeli forces’ positioning in the targeted area.
The video showed an aerial survey of the Israeli vehicles present in the field, then a precise monitoring operation revealed the location of 6 Israeli soldiers, in addition to preparing and planting ground bombs of the “Thaqib” and “Raad” types.
Al-Saraya’s video showed one of its fighters waiting – via a screen – for the Israeli forces and vehicles to advance to a place he described as “an engineering effort as a result of the positioning coordinates of the occupation forces after the seizure of the intelligence plane.”
The Al-Saraya fighter said that they were waiting for the Israeli military vehicles to advance through 4 different paths and reach the ambush area, where the previously prepared explosives field was located.
The footage included the explosion of an explosive device, which led to smoke rising in what the brigades called “the blind corner of the surveillance system.”
At the end, the video showed footage documenting fire and smoke coverage from the place where the operation was carried out, in addition to the evacuation of the dead and wounded by an Israeli helicopter.
On October 6, the occupation army announced the start of a new military operation in the northern Gaza Strip under the pretext of “preventing the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the resistance factions from regaining their power in the region.”
The resistance factions in Gaza have been documenting their operations against the occupation army forces and vehicles in various combat axes since the start of the Israeli ground operation on October 27, 2023, such as scenes of bombing and targeting Israeli military vehicles with explosive devices and anti-armor shells, and setting up successful court ambushes against the occupation army. It caused great human losses.
