The Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – broadcast what it said were scenes of its fighters bombing Israeli settlements on the Gaza Strip, and targeting soldiers in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
The brigades said that the bombing targeted “Sderot” and “Nir Am” in the Gaza Strip, in addition to targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles penetrating the Jabalia camp.
Scenes shown by Tel Aviv Tribune showed fighters from the brigades bombing Israeli settlements around the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Quds Brigades operation coincided with another operation by the Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). On Friday, the brigades broadcast scenes of their fighters luring an Israeli special force to one of the booby-trapped houses west of the Jabalia refugee camp.
Nearly two weeks ago, the Israeli occupation army announced the start of a new military operation in Jabalia under the pretext of “preventing Hamas from regaining its power in the region.”
