The platform’s audience interacted extensively with scenes of operations carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – in the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, and the Jabalia camp in the north.

Al-Qassam broadcast several videos, including a complex military operation east of Rafah, despite the Israeli occupation forces bulldozing the area to uncover tunnels and stationing their vehicles in an exposed location.

Al-Qassam fighters emerged from underground – according to the video – and targeted Israeli vehicles with a series of various strikes at the same time and place, as they used the “Al-Yassin 105” anti-armor missile, the “Shawaz” explosive device, and others, after a full 7 months of the war.

The outcome of the Qassam Brigades’ operations yesterday, Tuesday, resulted in the destruction of 12 Merkava tanks and 6 military vehicles, including troop carriers and bulldozers, in Rafah, as well as Jabalia, which also witnessed specific operations.

The military wing of Hamas announced that it killed 7 Israeli soldiers from zero range, who were trying to take cover in a Merkava tank that was targeted by Al-Qassam fighters east of the Jabalia camp.

On the other hand, the occupation army acknowledged on Tuesday the killing of one of its soldiers in Rafah, and the wounding of 28 officers and soldiers in various battles in the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of Israeli officers and soldiers killed since the beginning of the war to 621 dead and 3,456 injured.

“Extraordinary resistance”

The “Shabakat” program – in its episode on (5/15/2024) – monitored some of the tweeters’ comments on the Al-Qassam operations in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, amid praise for the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance and its continued confrontation of the occupation despite the huge difference in military capabilities.

In this regard, Radwan Al-Akhras says, commenting, “What happened today in Jabalia, the Zaytoun neighborhood, and Rafah, in terms of specific battles and operations, is an indication of exceptional guerrilla resistance, unparalleled in valor, courage, and pride.”

Nabil Muhaidhi said, “The mere appearance of documented battle scenes reassures us that the Al-Qassam Brigades system is operating at its maximum capacity and vitality, as there are those who plan, monitor, supervise, and implement.”

Reem praised the harmony between Hamas fighters on the battlefield, and said, “The appearance of the Qassam fighters together in the scenes of clashes from Jabalia shows the extent of their harmony… as the movement of traffic, ascents, and shooting were unified.”

In turn, Safwat touched on the Qassam Brigades continuing to manufacture its military capabilities during the war and compensating for the lack of stock after the long battle, saying, “I notice that all the Al-Yassin shells are new… This means that manufacturing is still operating underground.”

For her part, Amal expected that the recent Al-Qassam operations would affect the course of the Rafah invasion, saying, “The areas that the occupation previously announced had been cleared…in which Al-Qassam soldiers appear from underground…as if the war was just beginning and had not been going on for 7 months.”

She added, “These specific operations will make (Israeli Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu hesitate a thousand times to invade Rafah.”

It should be noted that the Hebrew newspaper “Haaretz” quoted an Israeli officer as saying that “Hamas is renovating its military capabilities very quickly, and that Israel is in an educational war with the movement that has changed its military tactics.”

In a related context, Major General Isaac Brik, reserve in the occupation army, said, “The Israeli army does not have the ability to overthrow Hamas, even if the war lasts for a long time. If the war continues, Israel will suffer serious damage, represented by the collapse of the reserve army within a short period, and with it the economy.”
