A leadership source in the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said on Friday that one of its fighters carried out a martyrdom operation against an Israeli force of 6 soldiers in the Jabalia camp, leaving them dead and wounded.
He added – in an interview with Tel Aviv Tribune – that the matter was related to “a complex security operation during which one of our mujahideen blew himself up in a Zionist force.”
He pointed out that the fighter was initially able to finish off an Israeli sniper and his assistant from a distance inside the camp.
Then, an hour after the event, “the same mujahid disguised himself as the occupation soldiers and arrived at a Zionist force of 6 soldiers and blew himself up among them,” leaving all of its members dead and wounded.
It is noteworthy that the Palestinian resistance factions, led by the Al-Qassam Brigades, are launching qualitative operations and engaging in fierce clashes against the occupation forces that have penetrated throughout the Gaza Strip for more than a year, especially in the Jabalia camp in the north, where the Israeli army continues a military operation that left dozens of martyrs and major destruction to homes and facilities.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, supported by America, has continued its ongoing aggression against Gaza, which has left about 152,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world. According to international and local reports.
