The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said on Wednesday that it had managed, in cooperation with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, to ensnare an Israeli force of 15 soldiers in an ambush in the central Gaza Strip, killing and wounding them, while the Israeli occupation army announced that 10 had been killed. Martyrs and wounded
This comes at a time when several areas of fierce clashes are witnessing between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces in the Shuja’iya and Jabalia camps and the Al-Tawam area in the north to Khan Yunis in the south, in conjunction with continuous Israeli bombing on several areas in the Gaza Strip, leaving martyrs and wounded.
A medical source reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that more than 40 martyrs had arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis during the past 24 hours, saying that among the martyrs were at least 10 children as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted residential neighborhoods in the city.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza also announced today, Wednesday, the death of 196 and the injury of 499 as a result of the occupation army’s bombing of several areas in the Strip, stressing that the death toll of the Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to 18,608 martyrs and 50,594 injured.
