The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced in a statement that it had managed, during the past week, to destroy 42 military vehicles and kill 22 Israeli soldiers from scratch.
Today, the Brigades said that their fighters were able to snipe 4 Israeli soldiers with the “Ghoul” Qassam rifle, east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam fighters were also able to destroy two Merkava tanks with an Al-Yassin 105 shell south of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, which also witnessed the targeting of occupation soldiers and intrusive vehicles with mortar shells.
The Bani Suhaila area, east of Khan Yunis, witnessed the targeting of an Israeli foot force with an anti-personnel device, leaving them dead and wounded.
Al-Qassam fighters also clashed with an Israeli foot force with machine guns near the Kuwait Junction, south of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Brigades said that they were able, in cooperation with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, to target a gathering of occupation forces south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City with mortar shells.
It confirmed that it targeted an Israeli foot force with machine guns, killing and wounding its members near Al-Sika Street, south of the Zaytoun neighborhood.
As part of the operations announced by Al-Qassam, it said that its fighters were able to seize an Israeli march east of the Zaytoun neighborhood, and explained that the Skylark plane was on an intelligence mission east of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
In the same context, Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, said in a statement that their fighters “managed during the past week to completely or partially destroy 42 military vehicles, and eliminate 22 Zionist soldiers from scratch.”
He added that they “killed and wounded dozens in 52 different military missions, during which the invading Zionist forces were targeted with missiles, anti-fortified devices, anti-individual devices, machine guns, and sniper weapons.”
Abu Ubaida revealed that Al-Qassam fighters blew up a house and blew up “four tunnel entrances and a minefield among enemy soldiers, and fired a surface-to-air missile toward a helicopter in the sky of the Strip,” without specifying the location.
Al-Qassam fighters were also able to “shoot down a Hermes 900 reconnaissance plane and seize a Skylark plane and two drones.”
In a related context, Tel Aviv Tribune obtained scenes showing members of the Al-Qassam Brigades carrying out an ambush on an Israeli force south of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
Al-Qassam said that its fighters killed and wounded members of an Israeli foot force, in addition to targeting a military vehicle that arrived to rescue the force.
The Al-Quds Brigades broadcast images of what it said was the targeting of an Israeli force barricaded in a building in Khan Yunis.
