Al-Qassam detonates a booby-trapped house in an Israeli force in Jabalia camp News

Palestinian resistance factions reported that they targeted Israeli forces with shells and guided missiles in Jabalia and Rafah in the Gaza Strip, and detonated a booby-trapped house in the Jabalia camp, while the Israeli army announced the destruction of infrastructure and locations of resistance missile launching pads.

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that its members were able to detonate a booby-trapped house in an Israeli special force next to the “Habob” building, in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, leaving its members dead and wounded.

It also confirmed that its members had detonated an Israeli-powered thunder bomb near a tunnel opening east of the camp, leaving its members dead and wounded.

Al-Qassam announced that it had targeted four Israeli Merkava 4 tanks with two “Al-Yassin 105” shells in different areas of the Jabalia camp, and an Israeli soldier was sniped with a Qassam “Ghoul” rifle in the project area, northeast of the Jabalia camp.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that it had targeted, with a guided missile, a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles penetrating the “Taba Zare” area, northeast of the city of Rafah. The Al-Quds Brigades showed pictures that it said were of bombing the Sderot settlement with missile bursts.

For its part, the Israeli army said that its forces continue to fight in the northern, central and southern areas of the Gaza Strip, in addition to the Jabalia area in the northern Gaza Strip.

The army added, in a statement, that its forces destroyed infrastructure, missile launch pad sites, and military buildings, confiscated weapons, and eliminated Palestinian fighters in the Jabalia area, north of the Gaza Strip.

The statement confirmed the elimination of a cell of fighters after it opened fire on Israeli soldiers, in direct clashes in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and devices prepared for detonation in Rafah were also destroyed.

Yesterday, the Israeli army announced in a new statistic of its human losses during the war on the Gaza Strip, that 8 soldiers were injured in the battles in the Strip during the past hours.

The army said that since the beginning of the war, 3,581 officers and soldiers had been injured, including 1,781 during the ground attack. He added that since the beginning of the war, 634 officers and soldiers have been killed, and 555 were seriously injured.

On May 12, the Israeli army began a ground operation in Jabalia camp and some surrounding areas, before announcing on the 15th of the same month the expansion of this operation after its forces faced “fierce battles,” as he said.

On the other hand, the Israeli war on Gaza left tens of thousands of Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.

Israel continues the war despite the issuance of a resolution by the UN Security Council to stop the fighting immediately, and despite the International Court of Justice demanding immediate measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
