The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – announced the destruction of Israeli military vehicles and tanks, while medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 42 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn today.
In a statement on the Telegram platform, Al-Qassam said, “We destroyed 4 Zionist Merkava tanks in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip.”
In another statement, it said that Al-Qassam fighters targeted a Cesarit troop carrier with an Al-Yassin 105 missile, a Hummer jeep with an anti-armor missile, and a D-9 military bulldozer with a ground device near the Eastern Cemetery in Gaza City.
The Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that Israeli soldiers were killed or wounded.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – said that it bombed with a “107” missile salvo the Israeli command and control sites along the Netzarim axis, and mortar shelled Israeli soldiers south of the Juhr al-Dik area in the middle of the Gaza Strip.
On the other hand, the Israeli army acknowledged that a soldier from the Givati Brigade was seriously injured in battles in the northern Gaza Strip.
The occupation army said that the forces of the “162nd” Division are continuing their military operations in the Jabalia area in the northern Gaza Strip, and claimed that they killed dozens of militants in the last hours during air strikes and face-to-face clashes.
The occupation army added that the forces of the 252nd Division and the Gaza Division operating in the central and southern Gaza Strip “killed several militants and destroyed terrorist infrastructure,” as it described it.
Dozens of martyrs
On the other hand, medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 42 martyrs were killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn today.
Medical sources indicated that 30 martyrs were killed in the northern Gaza Strip. Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that at least 19 Palestinians were killed, and others were injured, including women and children, in Israeli raids that targeted 3 homes in the town of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that 10 people were killed and dozens injured in targeting the Beit Lahia project market in the northern Gaza Strip. He added that 8 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted them in the Sultan neighborhood in Beit Lahia.
In this context, eyewitnesses reported that medical teams are facing great difficulty in reaching the northern areas of the Gaza Strip to transport the injured, which prompts citizens to transport them to hospitals in the northern Strip and Gaza City via donkey-drawn carts.
The reporter said that 5 Palestinians were killed and about 20 injured, most of them children, as a result of an Israeli air strike that targeted a gathering of civilians in the vicinity of the Sheikh Radwan Clinic, west of Gaza City. The injured and the bodies of the martyrs were transferred to Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.
The number of victims of the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing that targeted tents housing displaced people west of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip rose to 4 martyrs. The bodies of the martyrs were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city.
Today, rescue teams recovered the bodies of 6 Palestinians who were martyred in the occupation forces’ bombing of a civilian gathering in the Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City.
An Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a civilian car in the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation committed 5 massacres in the Strip, including 102 martyrs and 287 wounded who arrived in hospitals within 24 hours.
Medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that more than 1,250 people were martyred in the ongoing military operation in the northern Gaza Strip for 25 days.
Thus, the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 43,163 martyrs and 101,510 injured since October 7, 2023.
