The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said today, Saturday, that its fighters were able to “snipe” Israeli soldiers in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza. They also detonated two explosive devices on an Israeli foot force consisting of seven soldiers east of Khan Yunis, and a third anti-personnel device. Immediately after a rescue force arrived to rescue the soldiers, they were killed and wounded.
The Brigades said that they targeted 3 “Merkava” tanks of the occupation forces with “Al-Yassin 105” shells east of the city of Khan Yunis, before speaking about their destruction of a “Merkava” tank with a guerrilla action bomb northeast of Khan Yunis, in addition to its fighters targeting an Israeli foot force stationed in one of the houses there. With an anti-personnel missile, they left her “killed and wounded.”
Al-Qassam also announced that one of its fighters attacked a group of Israeli occupation soldiers with a hand grenade, leaving them “dead and wounded” in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip. Tel Aviv Tribune obtained pictures of violent clashes between the Al-Qassam Brigades and the occupation forces west of Gaza City.
The Brigades added – in a statement – that they targeted two tanks and two bulldozers of the occupation with “Al-Yassin 105” shells and were able to snipe two Israeli soldiers in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, noting that they bombed a gathering of incursive vehicles east of Khan Yunis with mortar shells, and an Israeli bulldozer with a Tandom shell.
Tel Aviv Tribune also showed scenes it obtained of an attack by the Qassam Brigades on occupation soldiers in their tents in the Juhr al-Dik area in the Gaza Strip, showing the moments of a number of Qassam members attacking Israeli soldiers in tents behind the incursion lines and “finishing them off.”
Al-Qassam said that the scenes show one aspect of the battle in which “Al-Qassam members eliminated 10 soldiers,” noting that all of its fighters who participated in the attack “returned safely and took the weapon of one of the soldiers.”
This comes on the 71st day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and the occupation army continues to bomb various areas in the Gaza Strip, leaving so far 18,800 martyrs and 51,000 injured, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction of residential buildings, vital facilities, and hospitals.
