The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said on Tuesday that it clashed with occupation soldiers and targeted Israeli gatherings and vehicles, noting that it was able to detonate two anti-personnel devices in an ambush of an Israeli infantry faction last Tuesday, west of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam announced that its fighters clashed with an occupation force in the town of Al-Qarara, east of Khan Yunis, “and shot down 5 of them, killing and wounding them,” and that it targeted a troop carrier with a Yassin 105 missile in the Al-Tawam area, north of Gaza City.
Al-Qassam also said that its fighters targeted 3 military vehicles with Al-Yassin 105 shells and clashed with a foot force, adding that they also targeted a force of 20 soldiers inside a building in the Sheikh Radwan area, leaving them “between dead and wounded.”
It also announced that it targeted the field command headquarters of the occupation forces in the southern axis of Gaza City with a missile system, following its bombardment of the Israeli occupation crowds penetrating the eastern and northern axes of Khan Yunis with mortar shells.
Today, Al-Qassam revealed the details of an ambush by the occupation forces last Tuesday, saying that it was able to detonate two anti-personnel devices in an ambush of an Israeli infantry faction west of Jabalia, and that its fighters “were told to carry out the ambush and finish off the faction from point zero, leaving dozens of soldiers dead and wounded,” and that an Israeli foot force advanced. For its part, the Israeli army announced the “recovery” of the bodies of two detainees from the Gaza Strip during a military operation, noting that soldiers were injured during the operation, while the resistance factions in Gaza have not confirmed this yet.
This comes on the 67th day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and the occupation army continues its raids on various areas of the Strip, leaving so far 18,412 martyrs and more than 50,000 wounded, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
