The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), claimed responsibility for the Jaffa operation, which resulted in the killing and wounding of more than 20 Israelis, and the occupation threatened death coming from various areas of the West Bank, as it put it.
Al-Qassam said in a statement published this evening, Wednesday, that this “heroic” operation was carried out by the two Qassam mujahideen, Muhammad Rashid Misk and Ahmed Abdel Fattah Al-Haymouni, from the city of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.
She added that the operation coincided with “painful strikes on the heart of the entity yesterday, Tuesday, at the height of its security alert from various resistance fronts, which concluded with the major missile attack carried out by Iran in Operation True Promise 2,” referring to the strike carried out by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard with about 200 missiles on bases. In the Jaffa operation, 7 Israelis were killed and 16 were injured, some of them in critical condition, according to Israeli media reports.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said, “Our mujahideen were able to infiltrate into our occupied territories, stab one of the occupation soldiers, and seize his automatic weapon.”
She added that they then carried out “the heroic operation in two different locations in the heart of Tel Aviv, one of which was inside a train station, and they finished off the Zionist rapists from a zero distance.”
The Al-Qassam Brigades threatened the Israeli occupation that “the coming days will bring with them death that will come to you from various areas of the West Bank at the hands of our staunch mujahideen, the sons of the leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Saleh Al-Arouri, whom we are preparing and equipping to write with their heroism the pages of glory in the battle of Al-Aqsa flood. It will warm the hearts of our people, with God’s help.”
She added, “As long as the occupation continues to exterminate our people and children in Gaza, it will become accustomed to seeing its dead in the streets of our occupied cities, God willing.”
Palestinian media reported that Muhammad Misk (19 years old) was shot dead by Israeli security personnel, while Ahmed Al-Haymouni (25 years old) was arrested after being seriously injured.
