Today, Wednesday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast scenes of its fighters targeting Israeli vehicles and shooting down an intelligence drone in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
The scenes included targeting two Israeli “Merkava” tanks with “Al-Yassin 105” anti-armor shells, and hitting them directly.
Al-Qassam showed scenes of its fighters seizing an “Evo Max” drone during what it described as “its intelligence mission in Beit Lahia.”
Israeli media describe the fighting in the Jabalia refugee camp and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip as “harmful and difficult,” while Channel 13 estimated that the ground operation in northern Gaza would continue for several more weeks.
Last Thursday, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said that the military censorship had so far announced the killing of 29 soldiers in battles in northern Gaza.
On October 6, the occupation army announced the start of a new military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, under the pretext of “preventing the Hamas movement from regaining its power in the region.”
The Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza have been documenting their operations against the occupation army forces and vehicles in various combat axes, since the start of the Israeli ground operation on October 27, 2023, and many details of the operations carried out against the occupation forces appeared during the video clips.
Al-Qassam also carried out successful ambushes against the occupation army, inflicting heavy human losses on it, in addition to destroying and damaging hundreds of military vehicles.
