The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast scenes of the detonation of a booby-trapped tunnel eye in an Israeli engineering force in the Al-Rayyan area, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Qassam carried out the operation on Thursday, October 10th.
The scenes showed the moment when Al-Qassam Brigades fighters blew up Ain Al-Nafaq, then the occupation forces evacuated the dead and wounded who fell in the operation.
The Al-Qassam Brigades and the rest of the Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip continue to target the occupation forces, causing deaths and injuries among their ranks.
The Al-Qassam Brigades announced earlier that its fighters detonated an explosive device against an Israeli force of 15 soldiers during an attempt to storm a house west of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, leaving them dead and wounded.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also said that it “targeted a Zionist Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Al-Tawam area, north of Gaza City.”
Over the past five years, the Israeli army has acknowledged the killing of 3 officers in battles in the northern Gaza Strip, at a time when it is launching a fierce military operation and a severe siege on the northern Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – announced earlier that three Israeli drones were shot down while carrying out intelligence missions in the airspace of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
