Al-Qassam Brigades ambushes a convoy of occupation vehicles in Rafah | News


The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the implementation of a complex ambush for a convoy of Israeli occupation vehicles in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam said in a post that its fighters “confirmed, after returning from the battle lines, that they had ambushed a convoy of Zionist vehicles in the vicinity of the communications company, west of the Kuwaiti hospital in the city of Rafah.”

She added, “Our fighters were able to blow up a Zionist troop carrier with two Shawaaz bombs, and target two other troop carriers with a Yassin 105 shell and a tandem shell.”

Yesterday, Wednesday, Tel Aviv Tribune channel broadcast scenes it obtained from the battles between the Qassam Brigades and the occupation army east of Rafah.

The scenes showed Qassam elements taking control of a military vehicle after it was targeted.

Yesterday, the Israeli occupation army revealed new details about the ambush set up by the resistance the day before yesterday, Tuesday, in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of 4 soldiers and the wounding of 5.

According to the information that was revealed, the Qassam Brigades blew up a building in Rafah in which an Israeli force was located, using a highly explosive device, which led to the immediate death of the four soldiers, including a female military doctor.

According to the Israeli military correspondent, the soldiers were subjected to heavy gunfire from Palestinian resistance fighters after the explosion.

Al-Qassam said that it targeted a building west of Rafah, which contained a large number of occupation soldiers, killing and wounding them.

In this regard, the Israeli army said that there are more than 14,000 booby-trapped houses in Rafah alone to target soldiers.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it targeted an Israeli command and control headquarters south of the Netzarim axis in the central Gaza Strip with guided missiles.
