The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that its fighters managed, in the last 72 hours, to destroy 72 military vehicles and kill 36 Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip.

Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, said – in a statement on Telegram – “The Al-Qassam Mujahideen hid during the last 72 hours to completely or partially destroy 72 military vehicles.”

He stressed that “our mujahideen were able to kill 36 soldiers, cause dozens of other Zionist soldiers to be killed or wounded, and seize the equipment and belongings of some of them.”

He added that this occurred as a result of “targeting the invading Zionist forces with missiles and anti-fortification devices and individuals, clashing with them from zero distance, and targeting their rescue teams, in addition to the sniping operations carried out against their soldiers.”

The military spokesman’s statement continued that Al-Qassam fighters “targeted field headquarters and command rooms, destroyed military concentrations with mortar shells and short-range missiles on all fronts of the fighting, and directed rocket salvoes at various targets and with different ranges into the Zionist entity.”

Sniping 14 Israeli officers and soldiers

The Al-Qassam Brigades announced earlier today, Thursday, that they had sniped 14 Israeli officers and soldiers, and destroyed 20 tanks and personnel carriers in various areas inside the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam said – in brief statements on the Telegram platform – that its fighters were able to “snipe 4 Zionist soldiers northwest of Gaza City, and also targeted 3 Zionist vehicles with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.”

It added that during the day, its fighters targeted 4 troop carriers and two Israeli Merkava tanks north of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, with Al-Yassin 105 shells, in addition to targeting two Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells, southeast of the city of Khan Yunis.

Later on Thursday evening, the Phalange said that its fighters destroyed an Israeli tank in the city of Khan Yunis with a Yassin 105 shell, causing it to catch fire.

Al-Qassam also said that it bombed occupation crowds at the Sufa military support site with a missile salvo.

She added, “Our Mujahideen and the Al-Quds Brigades bombed a gathering of enemy forces penetrating the eastern axis of the city of Khan Yunis with mortar shells.”

A field source in Al-Qassam said that 3 vehicles were destroyed from zero distance in Beit Lahia during the past 48 hours.

A battalion commander was injured

For his part, the Israeli military spokesman announced that an officer and 7 soldiers were seriously injured during the battles in southern Gaza.

Israeli Channel 12 also announced that the commander of the 12th Battalion in the Golani Brigade was wounded in battles in southern Gaza.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority explained that the commander of the 12th Battalion in the Golani Brigade, who was injured, took over the command, succeeding the battalion commander who was injured at the beginning of the war.

On Thursday morning, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced the killing of at least 10 Israeli army officers and soldiers after they were targeted with highly explosive explosive devices east of Gaza City.

Al-Qassam said – in a statement – that after its fighters returned from the battle lines in the Shujaiya neighborhood, they reported that they had targeted an Israeli foot force on Hassanein Street with highly explosive explosive devices.

It also announced the targeting of two Israeli Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, and 4 tanks and 4 personnel carriers in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood area, north of Gaza City, with Al-Yassin 105 anti-armor shells, in addition to targeting an infantry force barricaded inside a building in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood with an anti-TBG shell. In the Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, Al-Qassam fighters targeted an Israeli tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell.

Occupation statistics

The Israeli occupation army revealed on Thursday morning that the number of officers and soldiers wounded in its ranks since the beginning of the ground war in the Gaza Strip had risen to 648, and the number of dead to 116.

According to the latest data published by the Israeli army on its website, 445 officers and soldiers have been killed since the start of the war on October 7.

He said that 29 Israeli officers and soldiers were injured in battles in Gaza during the past 24 hours, and the Israeli army counts in its lists of officers and soldiers only those whose names are allowed to be published.
