The military and strategic expert, retired Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, warned of an Israeli plan that he said would be implemented with the support of the American administration, and aims to plant Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip, as ministers in the Israeli government spoke about.
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said, “In the end there will be Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip.” In his statements, Smotrich claimed that Gaza “is part of the Land of Israel. There will be no security without settlement in the Strip. The main lesson of the last year is.”
Major General Al-Duwairi said – in an analysis of the military scene in Gaza – that what the occupation army is currently doing in the northern Gaza Strip is a process of systematic destruction in order to make, in the first stage, the area extending from the north of the Netzarim axis to the fence uninhabitable for life.
He stated that the Israeli occupation is paving the way for its project by removing ambulance and civil defense teams from northern Gaza, in addition to the destruction of hospitals and schools, arrests, and asking women and children to go to the south of the Gaza Strip.
Major General Al-Duwairi said, “The biggest catastrophe will come after the US presidential elections, if the Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump, wins. He spoke openly that the area of Israel is, and he is thinking about how to expand it, which will include northern Gaza or the entire Gaza Strip, according to Al-Duwairi.”
According to the military and strategic expert, the first stage in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan is divided into stages, the first related to the northern governorates, stressing that the occupation is displacing the population in this stage.
He expected that the Israeli occupation would then move to the Gaza Governorate, which ends with the borders of the Netzarim axis. The Major General said that the currently available data speak for themselves.
On October 5, the Israeli occupation army began unprecedented bombing operations on the camp, the town of Jabalia, and large areas in the northern Gaza Strip governorate, before announcing the start of an invasion of these areas the next day. He imposed a major siege on the residents of Jabalia camp, Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun, stripping them of food and water.
The occupation army uses the excuse of “preventing the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) from regaining its power in the region,” while the Palestinians say that Israel wants to occupy the region and displace its residents.
