Al-Duwairi: The occupation has entered an intractable stage of exhaustion in Gaza, and its losses will increase News

The military and strategic expert, Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, said that the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip – from a military perspective – failed to achieve its declared and undeclared goals, which the extremist ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich alluded to.

Al-Duwairi explained, during his analysis of the latest military developments in Gaza, that the occupation army, which currently has 24 brigades to deal with Gaza and its surroundings, is unable to achieve the minimum goals that were set, revealing that this number of brigades was allocated to deal with the Arab armies.

Israel has also entered an intractable stage of exhaustion in Gaza and will suffer more losses, which explains – according to Al-Duwairi – the secret of the rift between the political and military wings in Tel Aviv, in light of the resistance’s ability to continue the fighting.

Developments in Rafah and Jabalia

Regarding the comment of US National Security Council Communications Coordinator John Kirby on the Rafah massacre in the south, Al-Duwairi said that this official was speaking with an Israeli tongue and justifying that Tel Aviv had not crossed the red line, completely adopting the story of the occupation army spokesman, Daniel Hagari.

He pointed out that there is an Israeli advance to the center of the city of Rafah, but it will not actually change anything, citing the continuation of fighting in Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun in the north, despite their entry since the first week of the ground invasion and have not been controlled yet.

He pointed out that the Rafah operation expanded its scope to the occupation army after it was within an area of 9 square kilometers, before the Israeli forces pushed in from the northern side, but he stressed that – despite this – it is still a limited operation and does not represent the major operation in the border city with Egypt.

Regarding the fighting in Jabalia camp, the military expert stated that the occupation mobilized 5 brigades from 3 directions, only to sink into its swamp and fail to subdue it, after the fighting became mostly from zero distance, under the concept of luring into sites prepared in advance for fighting, in which complex ambushes were carried out in two or three stages.
