The military and strategic expert, Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, said that the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), had succeeded in targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles east of the city of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Duwairi explained in his comment on the operation that Al-Qassam fighters achieved a certain hit in the deadly area, because they targeted the deadly part of the Merkava tank, confirming that there were deaths and injuries among those in the tank.
It was likely that the weapon used in the operation was of the “Al-Yassin 105” type or “Tandum” missiles, both of which are equally effective.
Regarding what the scenes showed of the sniping of an occupation soldier in a building, Al-Duwairi said that most of the sniping operations carried out by the resistance are very successful, noting that the sniping is carried out either with the Ghoul rifle with a range of up to 1,800 meters or with “TBGs”, which are weapons similar to “TPGs.” Al-Yassin, but it is intended for buildings, and its lethal range is 100 meters, meaning sniping is done from a close place and within the danger zone.
The use of weapons depends on the range, nature of the target, and shooting angle, according to the military and strategic expert.
