Activities commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Nakba in the West Bank | With pictures

Nablus- Thousands of Palestinians participated – today, Wednesday – in marches and vigils organized in Palestinian city centers in the West Bank to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Nakba that befell the Palestinians in 1948.

During those vigils, the participants raised the Palestinian flag and slogans emphasizing the right of return, and banners condemning the Israeli occupation’s targeting of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA).

Some participants were keen to display possessions that refugees brought with them during displacement, most notably the keys to traditional houses, which have become a symbol of the right of return.
