Israel also accuses Hamas of having killed the two children of Shiri Bibas, Ariel and Kfir, while the Islamist group says they were killed in bombing.
One of the four bodies given to Israel Thursday by Hamas belongs to a stranger and not to the hostage Shiri Bibas, announced the Israeli army on Friday, condemning the “blatant violation” a fragile ceasefire agreement.
The announcement was made after the return of the remains, accompanied by a propaganda ceremony, angered Israel.
Meanwhile, the remains of her two young children, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, were identified by the National Institute of Legal Medicine in Cooperation with the Israeli Police, and the family has been informed, said the Israeli army in a press release.
