Abu Ubaida, the military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), called on pilgrims to remember their brothers in Gaza and Palestine with their sincere prayers in the holy sites and during the Hajj rituals, and to remember Gaza and its patient people and its mujahideen in these great and blessed times.

Abu Ubaida said in a statement, “While the guests of God perform the Hajj, we perform the duty of jihad against the enemies of God, the usurping Israeli occupation, on behalf of the great nation of Islam.”

He added that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” attack was launched in order to defend the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third of the Two Holy Mosques.

He added, “The Hajj rituals are an opportunity to remind the nation of two billion Muslims of the reality of our struggle with our enemy, who violates the Shrine of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and wreaks havoc and Judaization on it every day.”

Yesterday, Friday, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced the bombing of an Israeli military site, and the killing and wounding of a number of Israeli soldiers in the bombing of a house and a tunnel east of the Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

The Israeli war on Gaza left more than 122,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.

The Israeli occupation army continues this war, ignoring a Security Council resolution demanding that it stop the fighting immediately, and orders from the Court of Justice demanding that it stop its attack on Rafah, and take immediate measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and “improve the humanitarian situation” in Gaza.
