A young Palestinian man was martyred tonight by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the Tulkarm camp, while the Shin Bet announced the assassination of an official in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of the young man, Hossam Bassam Youssef Mallah (30 years old), by Israeli special force bullets.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted Faisal Salama, head of the Popular Committee for Tulkarm Camp Services, as saying that a special unit of the occupation army executed the young man Mallah from zero range with several bullets penetrating his body, while he was in a supermarket on the services street near the entrance to the camp.

Salama added that this special force infiltrated the camp in a public taxi and another “tender” car carrying a number of sheep behind it, noting that the force withdrew immediately after it assassinated the young man.

For its part, the Shin Bet announced the assassination of a Hamas official in Tulkarm who was planning to carry out operations soon, according to its claim.
