A scene resembling the Gaza massacres… An Israeli missile kills 4 brothers in Jenin | Policy

Embryo- While news was coming from inside the Jenin camp that fighters of the military wing of the Al-Quds Brigades in the Islamic Jihad movement were able to blow up an Israeli military vehicle with a homemade explosive device, an Israeli drone was bombing a gathering of Palestinian citizens in the village of Triangle of Martyrs, near the south of the city of Jenin.

In the area known as the Martyrs’ Roundabout, the plane bombed a number of Palestinian youth who had gathered to watch the withdrawal of Israeli military vehicles from the city of Jenin and its camp. Four brothers were immediately martyred, in addition to two of their cousins.

Body parts

Eyewitnesses who arrived at the site of the bombing say that the four brothers – who are from the Darwish family – were sitting in a café on the main street near the Martyrs’ Roundabout, accompanied by a number of other cousins, when a missile fell from an Israeli reconnaissance plane in the middle of the place, leading to the martyrdom of the brothers. The four and two others are from the same family.

Photojournalist Muhammad Mansour – who was one of the first to arrive at the site of the bombing – says, “I saw the remains of the martyrs in the vicinity of where the missile fell. While I was trying to take some pictures, I stumbled upon pieces of their bodies and lifted them with my hands and put them aside. The scene is very harsh and horrific. It is difficult to describe.”

Mansour added to Tel Aviv Tribune Net, “It seems that the four brothers were sitting in the café on the street with their relatives, and they were spotted by the plane and the missile fell in the middle of the place where they were, and it created a large hole in the ground where it fell.”

In the place and in the village of the Martyrs’ Triangle in general, everyone who arrives can sense the horror of shock and sadness in the faces of the people. The event, as Mansour says, is “big and heartbreaking, especially since the six martyrs are from one family and that the area that was bombed is a lively area where people used to sit, and it is also a place To gather workers and farmers before setting off for work.

A misleading Israeli narrative

The occupation forces had announced that they had targeted a group of resistance fighters in the village of the Martyrs’ Triangle during the withdrawal of their forces from the Jenin camp after storming them last night, but the residents of the town denied this, and confirmed that the six young martyrs were civilians who were sitting at a regular youth evening in one of the well-known cafes, which Residents used to sit and spend the night there.

Doctor Mujahid Nazzal – who arrived at the site of the attack first and tried to treat the injured – says, “I work in a medical center near the place where the martyrs were bombed. Today at dawn I heard the sound of a large explosion, and then a number of young men came and told me that the Israeli aircraft had bombed the café on the main street in the town.” .

Nazzal added to Tel Aviv Tribune Net, “I quickly went to the place, and found 7 young men on the ground. I tried to examine their vital values to find out who of them was alive, but I did not find any sign of that except in one young man, meaning that 6 of them were martyred immediately, and all of them were from a family.” Darwish.”

The doctor explains, “In my estimation, the missile directly hit the head of one of the martyrs, because his head was crushed and separated from his body, and the rest of the martyrs were in a difficult condition and their features were distorted. One of the martyrs was injured in the foot about two years ago, and I was the one who treated him as well.”

A scene reminiscent of the martyrs of the Gaza Strip

In front of the morgue in Jenin Governmental Hospital, a large number of relatives of the martyrs gathered, while the wailing of the mother of the four siblings increased little by little, before she fainted the moment she saw the body of one of them in a bag without a head.

The grieving mother was shouting, “I appeal to God to give me his head. I want to see his head. I want to say goodbye to him. There is no one left with me. My children are gone.”

While relatives and friends of the martyrs gathered in front of the refrigerator, and the sound of crying could be heard in the outside courtyard of the hospital, the director of Jenin Governmental Hospital, Dr. Wissam Bakr, said, “Unfortunately, what happened at dawn today with the six martyrs is reminiscent of what we see in the Gaza Strip. This is one family that lost its youth in an Israeli bombing, and the majority of the martyrs “It was difficult to identify them. They came to us in pieces.”

Bakr added, “At about a quarter past five, the remains of the martyrs began arriving at the hospital’s emergency department, while one injured person who was with them was transferred to Al-Razi Hospital in a very difficult condition. It can be said that he arrived as a martyr with an amputee, another whose body arrived without a head, and a third martyr with a disfigurement.” His face is large, making it difficult to recognize him. Looking at the names, it turns out that 4 of the martyrs are brothers, and that two of them are relatives.

Official medical sources announced that the martyrs were the brothers: Hazza Najeh Hassan Darwish (27 years old), Rami Najeh Hassan Darwish (22 years old), Ahmed Najeh Hassan Darwish (24 years old), and Alaa Najeh Hassan Darwish (29 years old). Likewise, God blessed Nabil Suleiman (18 years old) and Muhammad Yasser Asasa, who announced at noon the martyrdom of his wounded brother, Wadih Yasser Asasa, bringing the number of martyrs in Jenin to 7 today, Sunday.

A great achievement for the resistance fighters

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the Jenin camp last night with a large number of military vehicles, while the clash began from the first moment the Israeli army entered the Jenin camp, and the sounds of large explosions were heard in the Al-Hadaf and Al-Jabriyat neighborhoods adjacent to the camp.

Palestinian resistance fighters were able to blow up an Israeli military vehicle with a highly explosive homemade device, wounding two occupation soldiers, one of whom was an officer. No injuries were recorded among Palestinian youth in the camp.

The camp residents said that the occupation’s bombing of young men from the Darwish family on their way to withdraw from Jenin appeared to be in retaliation for the bombing of the military vehicle and the injury of those inside it. This is the policy of the occupation forces every time they suffer losses in equipment and injuries among their soldiers, as they open heavy fire or… It bombs any gathering of citizens to kill and take revenge.

In the morning, the occupation announced the death of one of its female soldiers with the rank of officer after she was injured in the explosion of an Israeli military vehicle, while the Al-Qassam Brigades in the Jenin camp announced in a statement that an Israeli military force on foot was ambushed and that a number of soldiers were seriously injured.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades published a military report in which it indicated the participation of its members in armed clashes centered in the Al-Hadaf and Al-Jabriyat neighborhoods, in addition to the detonation of a number of explosive devices in the vehicles storming the camp.
