A protest against the occupation closing the UNRWA schools in Jerusalem news

A number of students of Jerusalem schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) organized a protest to condemn the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to close their schools permanently.

The media spokesman for the Federation of Junna Committees, Ramadan Taha – to Al -Jazeera Net – said that the closure of schools is a violation of the right of students to continue their education, stressing the refusal of the parents to any action that is far from their schools that have provided education for more than 70 years.

Taha called on the local and international authorities concerned with the urgent action to reopen closed schools so that students can complete the school year and provide final exams.

Last week, the occupation authorities closed 6 schools affiliated with UNRWA in each of Shuafat, Silwan, pictures of Baher and Wadi Al -Jawz, in implementation of the decision to prohibit the agency’s work and its activities completely in the city of Jerusalem.
