A Palestinian was injured – Sunday night – by bullets from the Israeli occupation forces, who also arrested 3 others amid confrontations with Palestinians in Nablus in the north of the occupied West Bank and Hebron in the south. The occupation forces also stormed several towns in different parts of the West Bank yesterday evening and early Sunday.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement that a 23-year-old young man was injured by live bullets in the thigh during clashes that broke out in the town of Tal, southwest of Nablus, and was subsequently transferred to the hospital.
Also in Nablus, the occupation forces arrested journalist Jihad Al-Badawi, after arresting him at a checkpoint at the entrance to the city.
In the southern West Bank, the occupation forces arrested two Palestinians, after arresting them at a military checkpoint in the Masafer Yatta area, south of the city of Hebron, and seized their vehicle, according to the official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa).
The agency explained that the occupation forces arrested the citizen Majed Al-Hathlin and his son, and seized their vehicle after detaining them at a military checkpoint near the village of Umm Al-Khair, in Musafer Yatta.
Intrusions
The occupation also stormed the Wadi Abu Katila area in the city of Hebron, which led to the outbreak of confrontations between them and Palestinian youths, according to what Palestinian media reported.
Israeli forces also stormed the towns of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, in the center of the West Bank, and Marda, north of the city of Salfit, in the north of the West Bank, amidst the firing of stun grenades and poisonous gas, which led to the outbreak of confrontations, but no casualties were reported, according to Wafa Agency.
The occupation forces also stormed Aqabat Jabr camp in Jericho.
In parallel with the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army expanded its operations, and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in 742 martyrs and about 6,200 wounded.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has continued the genocide in Gaza with full American support, which has led to the loss of more than 138,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of whom are children and women, with the loss of more than 10,000 people, amid widespread destruction and a worsening famine that has claimed the lives of dozens.
