The Palestinian security services announced today, Saturday, the killing of one of its members in the ongoing operation in the Jenin camp in the northern occupied West Bank, at a time when the occupation forces stormed the cities of Tulkarm, Ramallah, Hebron, Al-Bireh, and Nablus, and arrested Palestinians.
The spokesman for the Palestinian security services confirmed the killing of one of its members during the “Protect the Homeland” operation, which has been ongoing since December 14 in the Jenin camp, in what she said was a campaign aimed at “restoring security and stability and saving the lives of citizens from the increasing security chaos.”
Thus, the death toll from the Palestinian security operation in the Jenin camp rose to 9, including 4 members of the security services and Yazid Jaayesah, the persecutionist of the occupation and a leader in the Jenin Brigade of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement.
This comes amid increasing Palestinian popular tension inside the camp as a result of the operation, which exacerbated human suffering, in light of the interruption of electricity and water and the prevention of waste removal.
